Drilling with a Laser?

Our innovative "ceriDrill" laser-process empowers you to drill glass with a maximum in flexibility, in efficiency and in shaping your custom drilling designs. ceriDrill is outstanding due to the following key characteristics:
•    Fast
•    Efficient
•    Clean
•    Precise
•    Sustainable

The "ceriDrill" laser-process has several advantages over traditional methods:

•    High-speed drilling process with highest precision and quality
•    No mechanical stress on the glass
•    No pre- or post-processing required
•    No additional coolants required
•    No water required
•    Minimal wear and tear of the machine
•    10-20 times reduced power consumption
•    Dry process with laser-induced material atomization producing only little glass dust being extracted at the point of processing.

"ceriDrill" is sustainability by providing less costs for preparation and production costs, no waste and minimal resource use.

Edit any imaginable shape in glass

Drilling

Thanks to patented process, any conceivable shape (including shapes previously thought impossible) can now be created in glass with a cericom laser machine.

The laser offers the advantage that it is completely free in its movement, it drills a glass without any mechanical contact, and it does not require any coolant – achieving highest accuracies.

The cutting gap is only a small fraction of a millimeter wide, extremely precise and free of microcracks. Whether the glass is only 0.5 mm or 20 mm thick is irrelevant. Holes from 1 up to 100 mm are no problem for our ceriDrill laser process.

The cericom laser machines offer an essential advantage in production: the process is economical and time-saving, the machine works up to the highest quality standards, and the product achieves highest reproducibility. For industrial use, these are elementary key factors for the profitability of such an investment.
